SDS Author (Remote)
What You’ll Do
- Authors Safety Data Sheets in compliance with domestic and global regulations.
- Completes and processes various types of standard regulatory forms, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
- Provides data management and analysis of raw materials.
- Completes general hazard communication and reviews regulatory information for accuracy.
- Works in computer applications and systems related to the work: Excel, Teams, LISA/ExESS.
- Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
- Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field such as chemistry, biology or related discipline.
- 3+ years of chemical regulatory experience, required.
- 3+ years of SDS authoring experience, required.
- Strong understanding of GHS and chemical regulatory compliance, required.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good database management skills, including attention to detail.
- Computer applications and systems related to the work.
- Principles and practices for serving as an effective project team member.
Compensation
$25.00 - 27.00 per hour
