SDR Team Manager
About the role
The SDR Team Manager role at Canonical involves managing and mentoring a successful team of 2-10 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) or Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and maintaining a multi-million dollar pipeline. The role requires excellent academic results, a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business or STEM, knowledge and passion for business development, sales, and technology, and a track record of bringing exceptional outbound sales development results.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a successful team of 2-10 SDRs / BDRs
- Maintain a multi-million dollar pipeline
- Ensure team members learn and develop the skills needed for outstanding representation
- Use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement
- Experiment with new outbound approaches to adapt to market changes
Requirements
- Excellent academic results at school and university
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business or STEM
- Knowledge and passion for business development, sales, and technology
- Track record of bringing exceptional outbound sales development results
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Creative problem solving and cross-team collaboration
- Leadership experience of one form or another
- Able to use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement

Pay
We consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide. We revisit compensation annually (and more often for graduates and associates) to ensure we recognise outstanding performance. In addition to base pay, we offer a performance-driven annual bonus or commission.

We offer a distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person.
