As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through automation, testing, and collaboration. Workplace type: Hybrid-3 days onsite (Coppell, TX). Employment type: Contract to Direct Hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.
• Perform API testing using Rest Assured or Karate.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and database tests.
• Collaborate with Agile and Waterfall teams to ensure software quality.
• Maintain high standards of quality, security, and privacy in testing processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in software testing and automation (Senior Associate level) or 6 years for more senior candidates.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Cloudbees.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Strong experience with API testing using Rest Assured or Karate.
• Knowledge of SQL and database query optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with three days onsite in Coppell, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing and development.
• Experience working in onsite/offshore coordination models.
• Knowledge of additional testing tools and frameworks.
• Staying current with industry trends and new testing methodologies.
