About the role

This position requires a Senior Development Engineer in Test with extensive experience in various technologies and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, Page Object Model (POM), and Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns.
• Design and develop test scenarios and acceptance tests for web applications, databases, web services, and mobile apps.
• Perform performance evaluations and testing with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and implement complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Utilize DevOps tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, OpenShift, and Postman to manage testing environments and automate workflows.
• Collaborate with deployment teams to resolve issues, coordinate product design, and provide feedback on testability.
• Investigate customer problems, test bugs, and document testing actions in daily and weekly reports.
• Work closely with technical support teams to understand customer systems and provide solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Agile or Scrum methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and perform test automation frameworks across multiple application platforms, including web, database, web services, and mobile apps.
• Validate AI/ML platforms, including embedding-based retrieval systems, and build automation frameworks for accuracy and correctness.
• Keep abreast of the latest technology trends and continuously improve testing processes.

Requirements

• At least 8+ years of experience as a Senior Development Engineer in Test.
• Strong experience with Java, JUnit/TestNG, and DevOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, OpenShift, and Postman.
• Experience with Selenium with Java-BDD Framework, REST API, SQL/Oracle, REST Assured, and DevOps tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Go, and Shell scripting.
• Exposure to TestNG, Cucumber, Cypress, Swagger, and Postman.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Good to have experience in Mobile App Automation and Coded UI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology/engineering or a related field.
