Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Scrum Master / Systems Engineer to lead agile processes and contribute to the design and development of efficient system solutions. In this role, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure the team follows agile principles to achieve project goals. Simultaneously, you will leverage your systems engineering expertise to analyze requirements, design solutions, and support the implementation of technical projects. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, etc.
  • Additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree may be considered in some contracts.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Familiarity with systems integration processes
  • Understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Certification in Scrum or agile practices (e.g., CSM, SAFe)
  • Proficiency in scripting or automation tools

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups and Scrum ceremonies
  • Ensure the team adheres to agile principles and processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements
  • Develop and implement system solutions
  • Identify and remove project impediments
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with systems analysis and design
  • Ability to create and manage project documentation
  • Familiarity with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
