Scrum Master (SAFe)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a high-profile enterprise initiative within a regulated financial services environment. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic product and platform enhancements, including integration efforts involving third-party services, APIs, and customer-facing digital experiences. The ideal candidate has strong Agile delivery expertise, experience operating within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment, and a proven ability to facilitate teams, manage risks, and drive execution across complex programs.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support program-level planning and backlog refinement activities.
- Coordinate work across multiple teams and disciplines within a scaled Agile framework.
- Identify, track, and communicate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID).
- Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure alignment on priorities and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase team effectiveness and delivery predictability.
- Monitor delivery progress and maintain project visibility through Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Remove obstacles and help teams maintain focus on sprint and program goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting Agile software delivery teams.
- Experience working in Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments.
- Financial services, banking, lending, payments, or credit card industry experience.
- SAFe Certification and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and metrics.
- Experience managing risks, dependencies, and program-level coordination activities.
- Proficiency using Azure DevOps (ADO) for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting:
- API integrations
- Third-party vendor integrations
- Configuration initiatives
- Digital product or UI-related projects
- Experience working within enterprise PMO, EPMO, or large-scale delivery organizations.
Pay
$60.00 - $75.00/hr
