Scrum Master – AI Focus

As part of our commitment to innovation and excellence, we are looking for an entry-level Scrum Master who is passionate about agile methodologies and eager to contribute to our projects that integrate cutting-edge AI technologies. In this role, you will facilitate agile processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful implementation of agile practices that drive efficiency and enhance productivity. This is a contract position based on-site, offering a unique opportunity to grow within a supportive environment while making a tangible impact in our projects. As a Scrum Master with a focus on AI, you will be responsible for guiding teams in the adoption of agile principles and practices. You will serve as a facilitator and coach, helping teams to navigate their agile journey, overcome obstacles, and deliver high-quality results. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that agile practices are understood and effectively applied throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Coach team members on Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and principles to enhance their understanding and implementation of these frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Monitor team performance and progress using metrics and analytical tools such as Excel and Power BI, providing insights to drive improvements.
• Identify and remove impediments that may hinder the team's progress, fostering a problem-solving mindset within the team.
• Work closely with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to ensure alignment and share best practices across teams.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives in projects to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
• Maintain documentation in JIRA and Confluence to enhance transparency and traceability of project progress and decisions.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation by staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Basic understanding of project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Proficiency in analytical tools, including Excel and Power BI, for tracking and reporting project metrics.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices is a plus.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
