Scrum Master - Active TS/SCI

Position Job Duties

• Leads the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value.
• Liaises with stakeholders to ensure their interests are included in the release and with the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget.
• Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the correct order, within budget, and by the deadline.
• Serves as the Agile or Scrum delivery team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.
• Carefully coordinates and monitors the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
• Serves as liaisons between the product owner, development team, and management to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
• Ensures that team members understand project objectives.
• Maintains product backlog and release plan, and facilitates productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals.
• Preserve flexibility and the ability to respond to changes rapidly.
• Facilitates an Agile development team.
• Develops and manages Agile Scrum Artifacts and Reports.
• Manages the process for how information is exchanged.

Position Qualifications

• TS/SCI level clearance is required.
• Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree.
• Prior experience on a scrum team.
• Experience managing information technology development projects.
• Demonstrated experience and in-depth understanding of Project Management practices.
• Proven ability to use MS Project to manage projects.
• Demonstrated experience in Agile development and production environment.
• Certification Requirement: Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE).
• Desired: PMP, Scrum Master, and/or Agile certification desired.
• ITIL Foundations certification is desired.
• Experience with ServiceNow is desired.
