Scrub Tech I-Operating Room

Description

The Scrub Tech I must know and be able to apply the principles of sterile technique. They must also be able to perform the duties of the Scrub Tech I before, during, and after surgery and work under the direction of the RN Circulating Nurse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• New graduate of an accredited Scrub Technician program.
• This job will be authorized 40.00 hours bi-weekly.

Qualifications

Required to live within 30 minutes of hospital for call. Shifts vary, including weekends.

Skills

Must be able to apply principles of sterile technique and perform duties of Scrub Tech I before, during, and after surgery.
