About the role

Responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of Operating Room Technician. The Operating Room Technician functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using operating‑room technician skills and techniques.
• Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and perform tasks related to patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a certification‑eligible training program within 90 days of hire, or a non‑certification‑eligible training program within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred minimum of one year of experience as an Operating Room Technician.
• Licenses/Certificates: Current BLS certification required within the initial 90 days of employment.
• Certification as an Operating Room Technician is preferred.
