Screening Operator (6a-6:30p)

We are looking for a Screening Operator to join our team at our Troy facility.

Responsibilities

• Set up the screen, including installation of specified screen as well as placement of appropriately labeled and color-coded hoppers for collection of the screened material.
• Clean screening equipment between alloys to remove residual powder.
• Submit samples of in-process and finished product to the Quality Control laboratory for testing, identifying product with proper heat or lot number.
• Meet or exceed all safety, environmental, and health goals for the department.
• Meet or exceed quality goals for production orders.
• Meet or exceed productivity targets.
• Contribute to continual improvement activities.
• Notify lead or supervisor about any problems.
• Assist in other Finishing departments (i.e., Canning, Remelt, Cladding, Blends).
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Proficient in Mathematics (Decimals, Fractions, Percentages, Weighted Averages).
• Strong customer focus—internal and external.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
