Screen Printer

Responsibilities

• Receiving job travelers for screen printing.
• Examine work orders to determine estimated quoted times and be able to read blueprints drawings.
• Mix ink if required for custom color.
• Exposing the image onto a screen using the screen exposure machine.
• Selecting screen size per drawing, degreasing agents, and emulsion coatings.
• Installing and repositioning screens and making fixtures to allow for screens to be applied on accurately per the drawing.
• Running screens and performing quality checks throughout the process.
• Troubleshooting problems as they arise.
• Create and make labels using (Adobe Illustrator/Labelview/Bartender) software.

Requirements

• Previous work experience as a screen printer, preferably from the T-Shirts industry (3-5 years).
• Must be a team player.
• Able to abide by all safety policies.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• High level of creative and artistic skills.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to work with ink and chemicals every day.
• Able to manually operate large machinery.
• Able to work Saturday if needed.
