About the role
Provide comprehensive flight instruction in various categories including Private Pilot (PPL), Commercial Pilot (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII/MEI).
Responsibilities
- Teach students in a variety of aircraft types and ratings.
- Prepare students for FAA exams and certifications.
- Develop lesson plans and ensure safety during all flights.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and scheduling.
Requirements
- A valid pilot's license and current medical certificate.
- Experience teaching aviation subjects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for aviation and commitment to student success.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Completion of a recognized flight training program.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and procedures.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
