Your Role
The Scientist, Process Analytical Support will collaborate with colleagues in Analytical Development, Process Development and Quality Control to plan and execute product quality testing of biologics.
- Responsible for planning and executing analytical testing to support cell line, process and formulation development.
- Demonstrate hands-on technical leadership in the laboratory, oversee and delegate experimental/project responsibilities as needed, and write/review development summary reports.
- Applies the principles and techniques of Analytical Chemistry to biologics development.
- Advise Research Associates or members of project teams in the initiation and execution of laboratory experimentation, considering economic, regulatory and safety factors.
- Presents results of work, interprets data, and draws conclusions regarding presented material and nature of work.
- Maintain full working knowledge of principles and theories, applying such knowledge to the direction that supports Company and clients' interests.
- Demonstrates emerging ability in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results and interpreting experimental outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S./M.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of industrial experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability in competent execution and recording of scientific experiments.
- Proficiency with one or more of the following techniques: HPLC, spectrophotometry, SDS-PAGE or capillary electrophoresis, IEF, ELISA, biological mass spectrophotometry, and/or Biacore.
- Experience in characterization of glycoproteins—specifically mAbs preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This role is a full-time onsite position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Must be available to work holidays, weekends, or extended hours when needed.
Compensation

- The compensation range for this role is $102,400 - $125,100 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
