Your Role

The Scientist, Process Analytical Support will collaborate with colleagues in Analytical Development, Process Development and Quality Control to plan and execute product quality testing of biologics.

  • Responsible for planning and executing analytical testing to support cell line, process and formulation development.
  • Demonstrate hands-on technical leadership in the laboratory, oversee and delegate experimental/project responsibilities as needed, and write/review development summary reports.
  • Applies the principles and techniques of Analytical Chemistry to biologics development.
  • Advise Research Associates or members of project teams in the initiation and execution of laboratory experimentation, considering economic, regulatory and safety factors.
  • Presents results of work, interprets data, and draws conclusions regarding presented material and nature of work.
  • Maintain full working knowledge of principles and theories, applying such knowledge to the direction that supports Company and clients' interests.
  • Demonstrates emerging ability in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results and interpreting experimental outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S./M.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of industrial experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability in competent execution and recording of scientific experiments.
  • Proficiency with one or more of the following techniques: HPLC, spectrophotometry, SDS-PAGE or capillary electrophoresis, IEF, ELISA, biological mass spectrophotometry, and/or Biacore.
  • Experience in characterization of glycoproteins—specifically mAbs preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This role is a full-time onsite position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Must be available to work holidays, weekends, or extended hours when needed.

Compensation

  • We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
  • The compensation range for this role is $102,400 - $125,100 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
