About the Role

Operating 100% onsite at a state-of-the-art Lake County research facility, this role puts you in direct contact with advanced instrumentation to drive impactful scientific discoveries. In this position, you will take ownership of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analytical operations, work with complex radiopharmaceutical compounds, and collaborate within a world-class laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup, calibration, and optimization of HPLC systems for PET tracer metabolite analysis.
• Perform daily operations and routine runs using HPLC systems dedicated to metabolite profiling.
• Conduct routine PET radiotracer production activities following established protocols.
• Independently establish HPLC methods to ensure instrumentation remains robust, reliable, and properly maintained.
• Document all experimental procedures, analytical results, and daily laboratory activities in strict compliance with applicable standards.
• Adhere to all relevant laboratory safety guidelines, environmental health regulations, and quality compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications
• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline with at least 5 years of relevant research/lab experience; OR a Master's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline with at least 3 years of research experience.
• Core Technical Knowledge: Organic Chemistry expertise along with a proven, hands-on working knowledge of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS).
• Lab Capability: Demonstrated ability to work independently, establish analytical methods, and maintain complex laboratory instrumentation effectively.
