Position Overview

We are seeking a Scientist I Analytical Chemistry to support pharmaceutical product development programs within a fast-paced R&D environment. This role will focus on analytical testing, method execution, data interpretation, and laboratory support for both commercial and pipeline small-molecule products. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career analytical chemist with hands-on laboratory experience and a passion for pharmaceutical development and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing to generate accurate, reliable, and reproducible data.
  • Support development and characterization of commercial and pipeline small-molecule pharmaceutical products.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical instrumentation including: HPLC, Gas Chromatography (GC), Titration Systems, Spectroscopic Instruments.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data to support project objectives.
  • Investigate analytical challenges and assist in method optimization and problem resolution.
  • Design and execute laboratory experiments under established protocols.
  • Author technical reports, protocols, and scientific documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records using electronic laboratory notebooks and laboratory systems.
  • Present findings and experimental results to project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, laboratory procedures, and data integrity standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 2+ years of laboratory experience in analytical chemistry or pharmaceutical development.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, titrations, and spectroscopy.
  • Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
