Job Description Are you a motivated histotechnologist searching for a position in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment in a company with a great culture? This might be an opportunity for you! We are seeking an individual who will perform histology for immunology drug discovery programs. The successful candidate will work in a group providing research support in target validation, target distribution, animal model development, pharmacology, and exploratory safety studies. Being detailed oriented is critical to this role. Specific Activities Will Include Routine histology (e.g., tissue trimming, tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning of paraffin embedded and frozen tissues)Routine and special histochemical staining Additional Tasks Include Using computer-based laboratory tracking system (Sample Manager), Dream PathWillingness to get creative when working with novel tissues or challenging pathology endpoints. The candidate must independently schedule and prioritize workload to manage several tasks. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent education with typically 5 years of experience, or Masters Degree or equivalent education with typically two years of experience.
