Job Description
Experience with good aseptic laboratory technique
Performs laboratory operations with good dexterity and high degree of accuracy/precision
Performs/reviews preparations of reagents, samples, and media according to procedures
Performs or reviews routine cell culture technique
Documents testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - striving to minimize errors
Understand and perform calculations as required by test methods
Understand and utilize computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation/review
Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP's
Demonstrate technical writing skills
Process/review data, generate/review reports, and evaluate data
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Independently seeks out work
Performs laboratory maintenance as required
Commits to occasional overtime as workload requires
Supports LEAN initiatives
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Communicates effectively with client staff members
Ensures good housekeeping with a neat, clean and orderly workspace
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry or related degree concentration
- 1 year minimum of previous laboratory experience
Additional Information
- Working schedule: Full-Time, First Shift, M-F 8am-4pm
- Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply
- No relocation assistance will be given
- 25% travel may be required
