About the role
Piper Companies is currently seeking a Scientist – Analytical Development to join an innovative and growing cell therapy company in Branchburg, NJ. This role will support analytical development and routine quality control testing within a GMP‑regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing to support cell therapy development and manufacturing activities.
- Execute cell‑based assays, molecular assays, and/or flow cytometry testing.
- Support analytical method development and routine QC testing.
- Document laboratory results and ensure compliance with GMP procedures.
- Collaborate with Analytical Development and Quality Control teams to support testing needs.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cell therapy environments preferred.
- Experience with cell‑based assays, molecular biology techniques, and/or flow cytometry.
- Background in analytical development or QC testing within a GMP environment.
- Experience with cell culture and laboratory documentation practices preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
Pay
Pay Rate: $40‑45/hr. Contract to hire opportunity.
