About the role

This is a 6-month contract position located at 86 Morris Avenue, 1 Kenvuel Way, Summit, NJ 07901, USA, with possible extension. Pay rate is $39.34/hour on W2 (no benefits).

Responsibilities

• Formulate and prepare batches of consumer health products according to established protocols and specifications.
• Conduct experiments and trials to optimize formulations and improve product quality.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of batch formulations, processes, and results in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Ensure all records are up-to-date and easily retrievable for audits and quality assurance reviews.
• Monitor and evaluate batch quality throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to investigate and resolve any discrepancies or product issues.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and production, to streamline processes and enhance product development.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing improvements in laboratory practices and methodologies.
• Assist in the development of new products and formulations by conducting research and analyzing market trends.
• Stay current with industry advancements and best practices to incorporate innovative techniques into the batch preparation process.

Requirements

• Prior experience with consumer health products is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, lab notebook management, and handling of lab equipment.
• Strong skills in laboratory techniques, documentation, formulation development, and quality control methods.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, adaptability, and time management.
• BS Degree required.
