Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize complex bioassays and target-binding potency assays critical for the development of complex biotherapeutics.
- Investigate, identify, develop, and optimize new methods and techniques to generate reliable and reproducible data in a timely manner.
- Develop new techniques, explore new approaches and technologies, perform troubleshooting and optimization experiments, and present your work to various cross-functional teams.
- Read and adapt scientific literature to accomplish assignments and demonstrate broad and versatile technical expertise within your discipline.
Requirements
- Must possess an MS degree in biology, biochemistry, cell/molecular biology, pharmacology, toxicology, or a related field.
- 1 year of working experience in an academic and/or industry setting as a development scientist.
- 1 year of experience developing binding potency assays including ELISA, TR-FRET, Octet, flow cytometry, and other cell-based formats to characterize and test protein therapeutics such as monoclonal antibodies, ADCs, and/or other biologic modalities.
- Experience independently designing and conducting critical experiments that further project goals.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization within a cross-functional scientific environment within an oncology discovery research organization.
- Experience authoring technical reports, drafting SOPs, writing biology sections of regulatory filings, and giving scientific presentations to peers and management.
- Work experience may be gained concurrently.

$112,549 per year.
