Position : Scientist 1 Analytical Chemist - Entry Level Location : Salt Lake City, UT Duration : 12 Months Total Hours/week : 40.00 pay rate:$20-30/hr 1st Shift Client: Medical Device Company Job Category: Research & Development Level Of Experience: Entry Level Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders Only) Has a preference for candidates with hands-on biological work experience / relevant degree Roles Job Description: Provide technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for design and development activities for various medical device products. Support current products in roles of quality, research & development, pilot-scale manufacturing, supply continuity, and cost improvement.Focus will be on in vitro testing using biological materials. An understanding / training in biology is a plus.Execute technical and cross-functional project work Must Haves Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM major (Examples: Chemistry, biology, microbiology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering).Experience / understanding of working in a lab. Experience with biological work preferred.Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports.Strong communication skillsStrong ability to learn
