Position : Scientist 1, Analytical Chemist Location : Research Triangle Park, NC Duration : 6 Months Total Hours/week : 40.00 pay rate:$20-30/hr 1st Shift Client: Medical Device Company Job Category: Research & Development Level of Experience: Entry Level Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders Only) Workdays/hours: M - F 8am - 5pm Job Description This position will function within the Chemical Sciences Unit of Corporate Preclinical Development and Toxicology (CPDT) and will participate in/support the conduct of nonclinical laboratory investigations of medical devices and materials in accordance with GLP regulations and the BD CPDR Quality System.The incumbent will perform routine sample analysis, as well as investigational studies to support material control initiatives.performs qualitative and quantitative analysesperforms sample preparation, including multiple forms of sample extraction conducts routine and non-routine analytical chemistry studies utilizing HPLC, Karl Fischer, Light Obscuration, and bench chemistry Prepares chemical reagents and solutions needed for testing maintains a safe chemical laboratory environment records raw data according to GLP documentation requirements interprets results and prepares technical reports on completed studies performs other technical writing functions as requested
