Who You Are

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in:

• Preparing and prosecuting patent applications
• Contributing to prosecution strategy
• Providing technical and legal research and analysis with respect to matters pending before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Providing technical support for PTAB and litigation proceedings

Requirements

• Ph.D. (completed or in progress) in life sciences, plant biology, chemistry, or medicine
• Outstanding writing and analytical skills, and top academic credentials are essential
• Internship period – 3 to 6 months, full-time or part-time
• Part-time program requires 20 hours/week
• USPTO registration is not required

Pay

Boston, MA; Palo Alto, CA; and San Francisco, CA annual salary range: $40,000 (part-time program); $80,000 (full-time program)
