Scientific Advisor (Rhinology-Gastroenterology) - VIE Contract

This position is part of the iMove (VIE) Program, available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland) aged 18–28. Candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship. Applications must be submitted in English.
About the role
As Scientific Advisor (Rhinology-Gastroenterology) VIE within our Medical team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic and scientific direction of the Alliance Immunology Rhinology-Gastroenterology Franchise. You will partner with the Global Medical Head of Rhinology-Gastroenterology, acting as a key support in driving medical affairs initiatives forward, and will work cross-functionally to shape efficient and optimized global strategies while applying your scientific expertise to critical projects.

Responsibilities
- Provide scientific and strategic support to the Global Medical Head of Rhinology-Gastroenterology and Medical Affairs team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of medical strategies and initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
- Prepare and review scientific communications, presentations, and reports.
- Prepare and present scientific data.
- Support planning and execution of scientific events: advisory boards with external experts and scientific symposia.
- Contribute to the development of medical affairs policies and ways of working.
- Set up and foster cooperations with external medical experts and network activities.
- Cooperate with other medical functions (Global) and cross-functionally.
Requirements
- 1 year of prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry (which could be internship or apprenticeship), preferably in Medical Affairs.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- MD, PharmD, or Master’s degree in a scientific field related to the position.
- Fluent English (written and verbal).
