The Scientific Advisor role is seeking a science-focused professional based in the United States to apply scientific expertise to advance innovative clinical research solutions and support the development of life-changing therapies.
About the role
This role serves as a strategic scientific partner, helping translate complex clinical and regulatory requirements into effective technology-driven study approaches. It involves working across sales, marketing, client services, and scientific teams to influence how clinical trial data is collected, analyzed, and delivered.
Responsibilities
- Provide scientific consultation and expertise to support clinical trial technology solutions, customer engagements, and internal innovation initiatives.
- Review clinical trial protocols and provide scientific recommendations to support proposal development, timelines, and study strategy.
- Design data collection approaches based on scientific evidence, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and patient or site considerations.
- Evaluate study complexity and contribute scientific insights to solution design and service delivery planning.
- Develop and present scientific content for customer meetings, proposals, bid defenses, conferences, webinars, and thought leadership activities.
- Partner with commercial teams to communicate scientific value and support customer-facing discussions.
- Support transitions between sales and delivery teams by providing scientific context and strategic guidance.
- Provide ongoing scientific consultation throughout study execution and participate in selected customer interactions.
- Contribute expertise to product development initiatives, market insights, and improvements to clinical technology solutions.
- Maintain awareness of clinical trial regulations, scientific advancements, and emerging trends to inform recommendations and strategies.
- Collaborate with scientific experts and cross-functional stakeholders to support research initiatives and client outcomes.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate combines strong scientific knowledge with communication skills, business awareness, and the ability to translate complex concepts into practical solutions.
- Experience in clinical research, life sciences, or digital health environments is highly valued.
- An advanced degree in a scientific discipline is preferred, including a PhD or a relevant Master’s degree with strong qualifications.
- 0-3 years of experience in clinical trial technology, life sciences, biopharmaceutical development, or a related field.
- Familiarity with electronic clinical outcome assessments (eCOA), clinical technologies, or digital health solutions is a plus.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities with confidence engaging scientific, clinical, and business audiences.
- Ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear, customer-focused manner.
- Experience supporting customer-facing activities such as consulting, pre-sales, post-sales, or scientific advisory work.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to continuously learn and contribute across functions.
