About the role

The High School Science Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing engaging standards-based instruction in Life Science and Physical Science. The teacher creates a positive learning environment that promotes scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving while supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. This position collaborates with colleagues, parents, and administrators to ensure student success and prepares students for college, career, and lifelong learning.

Pay

Pay Range: $77,704 - $134,793 Annually

Schedule

Length of Work Year: 10 Months; 186 Days

  • Masters: $1,000 in addition to regular placement, limit 2*
  • Doctorate: $2,000 in addition to regular placement, limit 1*
  • National Board Certification: $1,500 in addition to regular placement, limit 1*

*Payment for the degrees earned or new hire during the school year will be pro-rated
