About the role

This is a regular 10-month contract with full benefits effective the 2026-27 school year. By Board Policy 7440, a teacher must remain in his or her school for three school years.

Salary

NC Teacher Salary Scale plus local Board approved supplement.

• Base Supplement Schedule
  • 0-4 years: $700/month, $7,000/annual
  • 5-9 years: $750/month, $7,500/annual
  • 10-14 years: $850/month, $8,500/annual
  • 15-19 years: $900/month, $9,000/annual
  • 20-24 years: $950/month, $9,500/annual
  • 25+ years: $1,000/month, $10,000/annual
• Hard to Fill (HTF) Schedule
  • 0-4 years: $900/month, $9,000/annual
  • 5-9 years: $950/month, $9,500/annual
  • 10-14 years: $1,050/month, $10,500/annual
  • 15-19 years: $1,100/month, $11,000/annual
  • 20-24 years: $1,150/month, $11,500/annual
  • 25+ years: $1,200/month, $12,000/annual
