Qualifications

• Appropriate State of Maine Certification (020) General Elementary, (350) Science – Physical or (395) Science - Life
• Current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education

Description

M.S.A.D. #11 is currently seeking a team oriented, energetic, and creative educator to join the Gardiner Regional Middle School teaching staff as a Science Teacher.

Knowledge of and experience with designing engaging, real world lessons with consideration toward the 5 E model.

• During the 2026-2027 school year we will continue to work on student academic growth as well as increasing the use of data to support the academic growth of our students.
• At GRMS we work with MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) that has integrated SEL and Academic supports for all students.

Solid communication skills and knowledge of academic interventions is strongly desired.

Teacher Pay Scale (2025-2026)

Placement on the scale is dependent upon degree and experience.

• BS MS CAS Level 1: $44,276 - $46,712 - $48,814
• Level 17: $75,110 - $79,242 - $82,808
