About the role
The Niagara Falls City School District seeks a Science Teacher for the 2026/2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will possess a General Science extension and be dynamic, collaborative, flexible, and engaging. Positions are open for both new and experienced teachers. New York State Certification is required. Experienced teachers may receive credit for prior years of service in other public schools.
Responsibilities
- Teach science courses at the appropriate grade level
- Participate in professional development opportunities offered by the Teacher Resource Center at Niagara Falls High School
- Integrate technology effectively across all grade levels
Requirements
- New York State Certification
- Experience in a public school setting (credit for prior service)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Science Education preferred
- Experience teaching in middle or high school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs
- Proficiency in using educational technology
