About the role
The Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District seeks a Grade 8 Science Teacher to join the O'Donoghue Middle School team.
Responsibilities
- Teach science courses to middle school students
- Instruct students in accordance with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and the Common Core State Standards
- Develop and implement lesson plans and assessments
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary units
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and guardians
Requirements
- DESE Licensed in Science 5-8
- SEI Endorsement preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
Skills
- Effective classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom
