About the role
The Southeastern Museums Conference is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for managing the organization's marketing efforts, including social media management, email campaigns, and event promotion.Responsibilities
- Manage the organization’s social media accounts, including content creation and scheduling.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage members and supporters.
- Coordinate and promote events through various channels, ensuring high visibility and attendance.
- Work closely with the Development Director to support fundraising initiatives.
- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing materials for print and digital platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with event planning and coordination.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
Skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
- Experience with video editing software.
