Science Aide

Part‑time Science Aide position at Uintah High School, up to 29.5 hours per week, voucher position with no benefits. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the education of assigned students.
• Create a flexible program and class environment favorable for learning and personal growth.
• Relate positively with students, staff, parents, and community.
• Assist with data collection.
• Assist with recess and/or bus duty as needed.
• Work cooperatively with all staff to ensure a comfortable and pleasant working environment that encourages safety and good relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school administrator.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required).
• Utah Elementary Teacher Certificate preferred but not mandatory.
• Associate’s degree or 48 semester hours of college credit, OR willingness to pass the ParaPro test immediately upon hire.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
