About the Role

Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) is seeking a K-12 Alternative Certification Coordinator to support the development and implementation of alternative certification pathways for educators across Michigan. This position is part of MISTAFF, a collaborative effort involving the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators, Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators, Michigan Association of School Boards, Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association, and Michigan School Public Relations Association.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of K-12 alternative certification programs
  • Collaborate with partner organizations to support alternative certification pathways
  • Provide support and resources to educators pursuing alternative certification
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders regarding program requirements and progress

Qualifications

  • Experience in K-12 education or educator certification
  • Knowledge of Michigan educator certification requirements and alternative pathways
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple partner organizations
