Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking 2 Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based opportunities in Rigby, ID for the upcoming school year.

Position Details

Location: Rigby, ID
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Duration: 39 Weeks
Schedule: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Openings: 2
Pay: Up to $70/hour (local)
Travel Package Available

Assignment Overview

  • Elementary school setting
  • Typical caseload of approximately 48 students
  • K-5 student population
  • Majority of evaluations conducted in small group settings
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Complete required documentation and progress reporting

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services
  • Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff
  • Support communication and academic success for students

Requirements

  • Active SLP License
  • CCC-SLP preferred
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
