School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
About the role
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the school setting performs student evaluations and provides, documents, and manages therapy services in accordance with each student's individualized plan of care and physician orders. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' lives while working within a collaborative educational environment.
Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification, if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable
- Current health certificate, as required by contract or state regulations
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
