About the role

Join our team for a school-based assignment where you will deliver evidence-based care, receive professional support, and help students improve communication and academic access.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy consistent with IEP goals in a school-based setting.
  • Conduct screenings and contribute to assessments under applicable supervision requirements.
  • Prepare materials, manage a therapy workspace, and maintain accurate treatment data and subjective notes.
  • Attend IEP and case management meetings under supervision as required.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
  • Current South Carolina state licensure in good standing, or documentation of eligibility to obtain licensure prior to placement.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
  • Experience in K–12 school-based speech-language services preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams.
  • Strong documentation skills and familiarity with IEP processes and state/federal special education guidelines.

Qualifications
