Travel School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with specific goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Offer training and resources to teachers and staff to support speech therapy integration in classrooms.
- Collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to promote academic and social development.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- State SLP license and ASHA Certification (CCC).
- Preferred experience in school, early childhood, or pediatrics.
Skills
- Knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain accurate, confidential records.
