About the Role
Join as a school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) to make a meaningful impact on students' communication, speech, and social development within an educational setting.
Responsibilities
- Assessing students' speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Providing evidence-based therapy in both individual and group settings
- Collaborating in IEP meetings with educators, parents, and support staff
- Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress
- Offering consultative support to faculty and families
- Staying updated on best practices in speech-language pathology and special education
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and valid SLP licensure (or ability to obtain)
- CCC-SLP preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered
- Experience with children or in school settings is desirable
- Proficiency in evaluating and treating communication and language disorders
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
