School Speech Language Pathologist

About the Role

Join as a school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) to make a meaningful impact on students' communication, speech, and social development within an educational setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing students' speech, language, and communication needs using standardized tools
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Providing evidence-based therapy in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborating in IEP meetings with educators, parents, and support staff
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress
  • Offering consultative support to faculty and families
  • Staying updated on best practices in speech-language pathology and special education

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active and valid SLP licensure (or ability to obtain)
  • CCC-SLP preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered
  • Experience with children or in school settings is desirable
  • Proficiency in evaluating and treating communication and language disorders
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
