About the role
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a local contract position in La Plata, Maryland, for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Support students with speech and language concerns by implementing therapy plans, collecting data, monitoring progress, and collaborating with staff and families to ensure personalized services.
- Provide essential support and specialized care to students with speech and language concerns within the educational setting by implementing therapy plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Collect data, monitor progress, and support classroom activities based on student plans of care.
- Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs.
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure compliance with district and state requirements.
Requirements
- Valid license required.
- School-based experience preferred.

Pay
- Pay Range: $37.50 - $44.66
