AHS Staffing is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a travel-lover's dream opportunity with PediaStaff, a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screening as directed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Implement the treatment program or the individual education plan (IEP) as designed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Work with classroom teachers to implement classroom activities to improve communication skills of students.
• Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for maturity level and interests of students.

Requirements

• Appropriate Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
• Current AK SLPA license or eligible for the same

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 37.5 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Schedule

The therapist will work 5 days a week, 7.5 hours per day.
