Description

American Traveler is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position requiring proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and a Texas SLP license.

School-based setting split between a middle school (2.5 days) and a high school (2.5 days)
Serves a middle and high school-age student population
Collaborative caseload shared with 2–3 SLPs per campus
Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–2:30 PM (5x7.5 hours)

Requirements

• Active Texas SLPA license required, or licensure actively in progress (license required if applicable)
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) — must be able to hold a conversation using ASL
