About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist to make a significant impact in a school setting in Aurora, CO. This position offers an opportunity to assess and support students' communication needs while collaborating with educators and families.
Responsibilities
- Assess students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and social communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support students' educational goals
- Educate staff on strategies to accommodate students with speech and language challenges
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Implement interventions within the classroom setting to enhance communication
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Requirements
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- CO licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Pay
$966.89 - $996.79 per week
Schedule
- 35-week assignment
- Day shift, 8 hours per day, up to 15 hours per week
- On-site workplace in a school setting
