About the role
Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a supportive school district in Walled Lake, Michigan to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a local contract assignment. The role involves assessing students, developing IEPs, collaborating with educators and families, and providing engaging therapy in an inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services in an inclusive school setting
- Maintain documentation and progress reports per district and state requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active (or pending) Michigan SLP license
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- School-based experience preferred but not required
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $50.95 – $54.85 per hour
- $3,000 assignment bonus (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details)
- Pay package based on 7-hour shifts, 35 hours per week (subject to confirmation); tax-free stipend amount to be determined
Schedule
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
