School Speech Language Pathologist - $50 per hour

About the Role

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Houston, Texas to hire a contract School Speech‑Language Pathologist. The position is a local contract lasting 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students to assess speech and language needs.
• Write meaningful Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with educators and families.
• Provide fun, effective therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Active (or in‑process) Texas SLP license.
• Passion for helping students succeed.
• School experience is beneficial but not required.
• Experience supervising SLPA’s is a plus.

Pay

• Hourly rate: $46.20 – $49.75 per hour.
• $3,000 assignment bonus (conditions apply; ask recruiter for details).
• Compensation may vary based on qualifications and experience; includes a tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined).

Schedule

• 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts.
• 13‑week contract.
• Start date: ASAP.
