About the role
RCM Health Care is looking for full and part time Speech Language Pathologists/SLPs to work in and around Dallas, TX. Monolingual and bilingual positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Conduct formal and informal evaluations and re-evaluations; compile information into written reports to assist in eligibility determination, educational need, and programming needs.
- Coordinate and/or participate as a member of the ARD committee; ensure all documents and meetings are completed within legal timelines.
- Translate appraisal data into research-based speech and language programs.
- Develop measurable IEP objectives and annual goals.
- Plan, prepare, and provide research-based therapy interventions according to student schedules.
- Provide services in inclusive settings when appropriate and coordinate with general education staff.
- Keep meaningful and accurate data for each session with every student on caseload.
- Provide consultation to campus RTI committee and function as a consultant in speech and language to parents and staff.
- Participate in staffings, district in-services, parent training, and public awareness presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, ARD meetings, and related activities.
- Complete progress notes and monitor student audit folders in a timely manner.
- Supervise licensed assistants, Clinical Fellowship Year interns, students, and mentor fellow SLPs as assigned.
- Follow billing and reimbursement procedures for Medicaid and complete required documentation.
- Complete required district caseload studies, logs, and Childhood Outcome Summaries by due dates.
- Attend monthly campus SLP meetings and all required training.
- Use technology to organize information, schedule meetings, develop and maintain ARD documentation, and produce written materials.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and skills through professional development activities.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders or related field.
- Valid Texas License in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Ability to work with school and community populations.
- Ability to work independently.
Schedule
- 2025-2026 School Year – Full Time
- Will follow the Academic Calendar
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
