School Speech-Language Pathologist - $2,460 per week

About the role

Average weekly pay: Estimate of $2,960 (includes hourly wages, meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses)

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Estimated payments are subject to change until formal offer of assignment is made and accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in need
• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Conduct evaluations and progress assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current license to practice in the state of Alaska
• Experience working with pediatric and adult populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed

Skills

• Strong clinical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
