School Speech Language Pathologist - $2,433 per week

About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week contract assignment in Roseburg, Oregon. The role involves providing speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to pediatric patients through older adults based on diagnosed conditions. Shifts are 8‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Play an important part in helping patients to recover and feel better about themselves by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
• Independent decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Minimum of 2 years of SLP work experience.
