About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist to make a significant impact in a School setting in Tumwater, WA. This is an on-site, 36-week travel assignment with a 35-hour work week and 12-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assess students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and social communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support students' educational goals
- Educate staff on strategies to accommodate students with speech and language challenges
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Implement interventions within the classroom setting to enhance communication
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Requirements
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- WA licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Pay
$2,226.89 - $2,295.76 per week
