About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a 35-week assignment in Chipley, Florida. This on-site position offers day shifts of up to 32.50 hours per week in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and social communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support students' educational goals
- Educate staff on strategies to accommodate students with speech and language challenges
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Implement interventions within the classroom setting to enhance communication
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
Requirements
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- FL licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Pay
$1,633.03 - $1,683.54 per week
